R/C Sailplane

Purpose of the Committee

The MAAC Sailplane Committee promotes the development of electric and unmotorized RC sailplane modeling through education and competitions, locally, nationally and internationally. Our RC sailplanes include slope soaring, hand-launch (F3K), winch-launch (F3J, TD) and electric launch (F5J, ALES). The MAAC R/C Sailplane Committee provides leadership, competition guidelines, communication, representation, and recognition of the competition soaring leagues.
